750 Turbo Rally Spring of 2016??

It really has come down to how much room is left. Iron Horse does have some available space one weekend only in late Sept.
June / Sept are the months that are booked heaviest with very few bunks available. The weather can be a factor (more rain than cold) & I can only go by what people in the area suggest has the best chance of a good weekend ride. Which is the first couple weeks of Sept. One thing talking with the resort is when they lift the reserves not paid for they are picked up pretty quick by those waiting so she actually put Kawa Rally in the system and said to call at opening 9 a.m. to reserve with hopefully the spaces we need. Im not a lock for the june date but you got my word I'll give it everything i got because i don't want this to be a one and done event , I want this to continue. And the more people to show i would guess would determine that .
Anyway Just to be clear , will you be setting the date today , when the reserves are released or like in a previous post , your setting it on monday ?

I feel the same way George, I am going whatever the date in hopes that it will be something we can do for a long time. I won't speak for Charlie, but the way I understood it was the Iron Horse will not release the rooms until Monday, so I don't think Charlie will know 100% until then.

The date will be set on Monday..today they release the dates not paid. But can't reserve until Monday a.m.

I know this is hard and everyone won't like the dates. If we had planned last year we could have open windows to choose. IF the turnout is good for the first one would like to make this a annual event and hope it keeps growing or maintain a strong showing. When the first Rally is over will set up the second year date's with a better window to work with for the Rally.

Hey Nick..will be Thursday thru Sunday. Just talking about the weekends available so I should have been more clear about that.

So far sounds like the guys that can't make Sept will be in good shape with June...The early June date sounds like it is better so far..gonna be hard to keep everyone happy with the date. Do the best we can. Roger lives up this way and doesn't recommend late in month as weather is not as clear cut in the mountains.... Hey Rob sure you live close enough to share a thought

As far as weather goes as long as it's not raining I'm OK should not really be to hot by then. Just a guess, the weather in Kentucky changes all four Seasons in a single day sometime.

Charlie, not really "good" with June, it's actually a horrible time for me
Having said that, I would do everything I could to be there if you told me it was tommorow
This is important to me and I would like to see it be the first of many so I will bend over backwards to be there no matter when it is
I appreciate all your efforts and understand that it's not really your call, availability of rooms being a huge factor
Just wanted to throw it out there again that given a choice I would not pick June, having said all that I am looking forward to it no matter the date
