PCIII Question , again

Post by Würstchens-Turbo 810 »

I dont understand this correct.

We dont have a wire to the PC with the RPM-Signal - now my Question :

How know the PC which RPM we have ?

In our Mapping , we say numbers at the rpm-Scale , ok WE know thats boost ,not RPM.
But on the Dyno-print we see the AFR -Curve with rpm.

If i modifiy my mapping i must go with rpm.

How can i know the cross boost/rpm when we dont have a rpm-signal

in the moment i am confused

The PCIII knows because it gets a trigger for the injectors at every firing cycle and works it out from there.

The RPM scale is RPM, not boost. Boost sensor is connected to the TPS which represents throttle opening and not RPM.
There's more besides, joyrides and a little house in the countryside.
Get the balance right.

Ferret is correct, and this is covered in page 1 of the installation instructions.

We don't need a PC to respond to throttle adjustments, as the ECU already does that. We only need the PC to respond to increases in boost, which is why we connect the grey PC wire to the boost sensor, instead of the throttle sensor.
