Come join us for good times, good food, and good rides in scenic Harpers Ferry, WV on Sunday, August 24th for a 750turbo.com USA end-of-summer meet! Don't forget to bring your cameras, the scenery is amazing!
I'll keep this post (as well as the thread) updated with the latest!
Here's the plan. We'll meet at 11:00 am at the Harpers Ferry 7-Eleven, located at:
1655 W Washington St
Harpers Ferry, WV 25425
Once everyone arrives and we all meet etc, we'll talk about how the ride will go, then we'll head out. The ride will be 63 miles around, and will take about 2 hours give or take.
Here's the route. This ride will be quick-paced, as in: This isn't a race so please don't act like it is, but we aren't going to ride at a typical molasses cruiser pace either. Piney Power (Trent) will lead and I will ride sweep.
This route is nicely varied. There are some awesome twists, bends, and elevation changes at the beginning and ending stretches, and some BEAUTIFUL scenery throughout the ride. We'll hit a short section of 4-lane highway, we'll see a bit of small-town life, and there will be some clear farmland straights to cruise through as well. I think everyone will enjoy it thoroughly!

Eat a late breakfast, or gobble some snacks at 7-Eleven before the ride, because we'll have a late lunch. When we get back into Harpers Ferry, we'll chow down and talk about the awesome time we just had at The Anvil Restaurant, a friendly place with a yummy looking menu and fair prices. The menu is located online at their website, so feel free to browse. We have reservations too, so no worries about getting seated!

After lunch is over, we can hang around the bikes and chat or whatever, and people can head out as they want. That should conclude one of the best days you'll have until the next time we do this! See you all there!
P.S. Please RSVP to me as soon as possible if you plan on coming! I want to know how many of us to expect!
Definitely will attend list (replied as of this week):
ALLTRBO (Steven)
ALLTRBO's coworker (Erich, on an FJR1300)
Piney Power (Trent)
Boost_Fan
Swiftandswank (Mike)
bikerider (Bob)

I know there are a few of you around here, anyone want to meet up sometime soon? I've never seen a stock, running Turbo up close and I'd like to.
If one would go for it, I'd like to ride a Turbo as well, of course letting that person ride my '95 GPZ1100 (the only bike I have running for now). It'd help give me specific direction on which way I want to go with my Turbo during the buildup.
Let me know!
