Turbo upgrade

Post by Mrredt »

So when the turbo has been upgraded
Up the injectors
810 kit
What sort of torture can be made
We see plenty of 135 150 bhp
But how about torque
May Charlie can throw a bit of light on it
Or some of you whats ya bike running
Be nice to see some graphs :thumbup

Ballpark answer here
I have heard the billet upgrade is a noticeable upgrade to chestnuts stage two turbo upgrade

My first bike in 2000, With 810 Stage 2 and all other supporting mods made 155WHP and 101torque…

I will be doing the billet upgrade this summer on my current bike…
So assuming will be getting around those numbers

Billet turbo upgrade is newer design super efficient compressor wheel design versus the old TB03 Garrett Compressor Wheels. The Bilelt upgrade with turbine work will respond lot faster making full boost usually by 3800 RPM and more torque/HP thru RPM range. Depending on engine mods this turbo at boost selected can produce in the 140 to 180 HP range. More you have done to engine and better fuel/higher boost more you can make..safely on pump fuel on street should be solid 150 range with moderate boost level 15 lbs/ :thumbup

That sounds great Charlie I’m looking forward to it! I should note that when I got those numbers in 2000, it was at 22-24 lbs of boost on race gas

The bike made 122 WHP at stock boost levels…

:thumbup like i say its the torque i am interested in 100ftlbs pretty impressive for a 810 kit
Obviously boost in to early on any engine could be an issue normally burns out quicker
Am happy if it will produce 100 plus 150+ bhp should b pretty quick 👍
As a question is Charlies upgrade the only one on the market
Apreciate his skills and development 👌😎
Just asking questions
Obviously more boost more torque 👍👌
If i do the a plate quak i go that way
I keep the 85 t quak stockish as its been played with a bit
Good to see some views :beer
