Hi, just joined as a few years ago I bought a bike in boxes. Told its a UK bike with VIN ZX750E-002992. Any way of telling if its a UK bike or imported ? No reg No in the box. Done as initial check but VIN not showing so worried its an import with no papers. Once I know I'm not wasting my money need to decide if I'm going rebuild stock or go wild ?

Hi and welcome.
It has a VIN number that would point to it being a bike probably from the UK, certainly not the US but maybe imported from another country where they were available.
The JKA number is the US model numbering.
The thing to bear in mind is most EU countries, Aus, ZA, etc. will have KMH on the clocks, so if you have MPH it is almost certainly a UK bike.
