Hi All,
I'm from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and am the proud new owner of a 16k km 750 Turbo.
Have always been on the lookout for unique bikes and the Kawasaki has been on my wanted list for a while.
I am not a stranger to bikes and my most recent project was refurbing an 83 H*nda CX650 Turbo.
This was a 2 year effort, good thing I'm retired otherwise might have been much longer.
The 750 is low mileage, same owner since 1985. I'm the third owner.
The previous owner had the clutch dampers done with the help of this site about 6 years ago, and had the fuel pump replaced.
I intend to strip the bike down for a good deep clean, and to revive some hoses and rubber parts, new tires, check electricals, fork bushings, seals, refurb brake calipers and rotors, fluids, battery, etc.
Have already stripped the back end down to frame, the fairing, exhaust manifold and turbo and oil pan is off.
Luckily there was no debris in the oil, but the air filter is toast, it literally crumbled when I took it out.
Shame that I didn't remove it before we started the bike when I first went to look at it prior to purchase. It started up fine but smoked a good bit (probably burning up the oil soaked filter foam bits) until it warmed up and then idled perfectly with no smoke.
I have been browsing the forum for the last few weeks and trying to read up as much as I can.
I have all the manuals (electronic), but would really like to get hold of a hard copy original service manual and supplement. For me a hard copy is easier to wade through than the electronic version.
If any one out there has an extra set, please let me know.
Once I get going I'm sure there will be lots of questions.
Cheers

The number of bikes you should own = (N+1), where N is the number of bikes you currently own.

Welcome aboard
Just a suggestion, create a second post in the for sale / wanted section for the manuals . Not everyone bothers visiting the welcome page frequently.
