300 mile run

Post by longfiredragon »

Final got a chance to get in a series ride last Saturday. Myself, my future son in law on his little ninja 650 and a friend from work, Jesus on his new 636. We left my house early, went to DeLand and had breakfast. Then headed up in to Charlie territory, and with a little guidance from Charlie over the phone I managed to not get us to lost. It was a little over 300 miles in total. Neither Jesus or Zach had ever ridden that far in a day and complained a little about there behinds hurting. All in all it was a great ride and everyone was safe. Also the turbo spanked the 636 at highway speeds at least until I had to let out of it at 15 pounds. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

The problem is not the problem, the problem is your attitude towards the problem.

I don't do big miles very often ( found the Turbo was always great when I did back in the day) but have just committed to a 300 mile run to Devon next year on my BMW R Nine T Racer quite possibly the most impractical bike of recent years but it does look cool and goes well enough for me.
