Q. My turbo has a pipe and/or aftermarket filter, and in the higher gears under full acceleration it "cuts out" for a second or so like the ignition has been switched off, then the power comes back on. What's wrong with it?
A. Nothing is wrong. The pipe and filter allow the turbo and engine to breathe more freely and require more fuel. The stock ECU isn't programmed for this, so cuts the injection for a moment until settings are back to normal. You can prevent this happening by enabling "race mode".
