injector numbering

Post by paxo »

yet another question......I am wanting to wire the injectors in separately rather than bunching them altogether, if the technology is there in the pc may as well use it eh....how do I know which wire is for which cylinder on the pc?? on the original setup they are just all bunched together ? how does that work....does that mean they all squirt fuel together as standard ? that can't be right can it ?
Ta yet again

Hello

They only reason for connecting the separately is if you are going to use the "trim" function in the PC. If not bag them all together.

Am I wrong in thinking that the PC outputs to the injectors have to be wired seperately? I thought someone had a problem with the PC because they bunched the outputs together :popcorn

The injectors all fire at the same time on a standard bike I believe.
You should try to know everything about something & something about everything.

I know that the bike is batch fired, but the PC is not built for that type. I guess my point is going to be lost or misconstrued, I remember someone having a problem with their setup because of bunching the outputs to the injectors. The installation instructions show them wired seperately, the order doesn't matter unless you are going to tune each injector seperately.

I would recommend that you keep the outputs separate.
First to 200mph (2006) and still the fastest (211mph)
Quickest turbo-only 8.69 @ 162mph

I am keeping them seperate, I may never need to adjust them separately.....but i may as well have the option if im going to the bother of wiring the thing in anyway
