32 wires ??

Post by paxo »

Ok so I'm staring at my pc111usb after fitting my new injectors.....I may be thick but after reading loads and loads of stuff on here I'm still very confused. The pc111 is off a zx10 kwaka.....why on earth is there 32 wires ? What the heck do I do with all that lot as I can't seem to find the answer anywhere ?!? Anyone else fitted the same type on there turbo ? Any help very much appreciated !

Paxo, there are two plugs to patch through the existing harness on the zx10, what you need to do is strip some of the outer cover off to expose the wire at that point you should be able to find 4 solid colored wires( Yellow, blue, green, orange),and 4 striped y/w,b/w,g/w,o/w these are for the injector in injector out... a red (switched positive) a black (earth or ground) and a gray that will go to the boost sensor. Let us know what you find.
I've tried growing up, it just doesn't work for me, so I'll go on enjoying my childhood.

cheers for the help !
Yep found the solid orange, yellow, blue & green on 1 plug. on the same plug there r loads of brown wires, a red, a grey and a black/white one. on the other plug there are again loads of brown wires, a doubled up red, a doubled up grey and a doubled black & white. there are then 4 cables left which are the o/w , g/w, b/w and y/w. Oh yeah there is a completely separate solid black wire with a connector on the end which I assume is an earth ?
Appreciate the help :beer

ok....Its starting to make a bit more sense now I've stripped all the harness right back. I've managed to thin it all down to the 4 solid colours (y,b,g,o) and a black/white, a red and a grey, then just 4 left the o/w, g/w, y/w and b/w. All of the other wires were just being used to join the 2 plugs together ! sounds and looks (a bit) more straightforward now........hmmm
