Hey guys, am I missing something here :wanker I am a little confused? The posts concerning this only started in Jan. last one on Jan. 23 from Nick, then 750 TurboGuy posted in early March, then one post from crashtech on May 10. Then Charlie on same day, and all of a sudden there is no rally? thoroughly confused?

Seemed like most were open for sometime after June, and the past 2 have been (If I remember right September)

So if it was to be around September again this year that's like 4 months away. And there is no rally :wanker I can only guess there has been lots of discussion off the forum, that is not posted here?

Nothing really transpired here to get it rolling and didn't get a location and time early or late worked out with so many all over the country. You could take it on if you like D and put it together. Think the guys were saying some meet here and some meet there and its just like a regular get together. I don't have to be the one putting it on if you would like to go for it. Sure you can get some guys together and have a good time riding and activities at night. For me its been a real struggle to get things back in financial shape from the accident with health coming back slowly. When I posted no rally was saying I won't be doing it this year..but anyone can step up and put it together if they would like to. Be good to keep it rolling every year. :thumbup

Thanks C for clearing that up. I did not know you were backing out of hosting it, that's too bad. Also my bad for not paying enough attention to the posts on here, I see you already have tentative plans for riding this summer.

As far as me hosting it, I am always willing to help, I was planning on helping you this year C if you needed anything. I would be willing to help out others as much as I can, like looking up hotels etc. even if I was unable to attend myself.

I do have a couple issues though, the fist being that I was born and raised out west, and have never lived in the NE, and I know no body including myself that wants to ride in flat ass Florida. So I have no clue outside of the TN area where to ride? The other issue is getting my bike road worthy, which hopefully will be a non-issue soon, but you never know. Like I said though I would be willing to help any way I can even if I can't go myself.

It doesn't take any money to host a rally, it would be nice to have grab bags, and trinkets and such like C and I did the first year but it is not a must. All we need is to decide where and when. I am speaking for myself of course, and for me it is about hanging out and riding. The first rally night activities were just winged, eating diff. places, sitting around talking and hanging out, and of course riding some at night, it doesn't have to be anything planned. (Again speaking for myself) So please if anyone else has any interest in keeping this rally going lets talk about it some more and see if we can come up with something. :victory

All good D... I really don't know if I have any plans riding anywhere out of state this year..I would like to but I am watching every dollar spent and it cost a lot to travel around the states. The Rally isn't to pricy to put on. Mainly when you secure the lodging I put my CC on a $5000. hold for the rooms for a month when. Last year at Scotts everyone that needed to hotel it got advanced setup being close to the city. The T Shirts are bout $400. to put together using a quality T shirt. The small things like the Rally Pins of the 750 ordered where from all over the country and Germany. They also were about $350. but we don't need pins, key tags, stickers etc for swag to have a Rally. I just wanted to make it nice to have something from the Rally. Like you said you could just pick a place and date and everyone could research and figure what they want to stay and all. Not to bad overall.
