Power commander wiring

Post by FastFerret »

As a prelude to going the PCIII/PCV route, does anyone have or is willing to make up a wiring breakdown diagram?
Basically, PC wire x goes to ECU/CDI/WiringLoom wire Y etc.

Is it at all possible to do this? Do the Power commanders have common wiring colour configurations?
Is it already somewhere on the site?
Can we put something into the 'How to' section regarding this?

Thanks gents.

FF,
Lorcan has provided the basic format for the PC if you look up PC installation,M6ntl (Mark) has provided the needed diagram for the 5v calibration to the power commander and the 6v cap for the ECU to prevent overboost.Here's the thread;

Thanks KMan, I found the thread.
Still think it should be a 'HOW TO' though.

When I get ready to do mine, I'll ask some specific questions in the Install thread about where folks intercepted which wires, keep the camera handy, and try to type it up.
Ride 'em while you still can

I started doing it and there is a lot of info I could put in there but I'll try and stay with the essentials. Right now I am working in Microsoft Word. Anyone have any suggestions for a HTML writer type software???? Or maybe Word will let me save it with HTML tags.
