All PC3s should work. The ones with the extra wires are PC3Rs which do ignition mapping as well as fuel so have wires for the stick coils. You could use those too but it might be a bit of a game identifying the right wires. The PC3 is pretty simple as it's 4 in, 4 out, earth (possibly 2), power and TPS (boost).

Lorcan,
If some of the pc3's can control the stick coils, then could the turbo be fitted with stick coils and the PC3R to control the ignition? Or would resistance of the PC3 fry the ecu coil drivers?

It doesn't work like that as the PC only modifies the ECU output signal, whether it is fuel or ignition. As the turbo ECU does not output an ignition signal there is nothing to modify.

It only has 12 going into the unit itself, it has some others that just go through the plugs that fit into the ZX12 wiring loom, but we don't need those, they are only there to save you hacking into the loom.

I was lucky and got a brand new PC3 USB for a 2003 Z1000 only paid 100 quid boxed and everything.
As Lorcan said they are all pretty much the same. Mine has the usual 4 in, 4 out, two black (ground), red and grey. 12 in all.
Won't fit it until the T25's ready to go on.
Zephyr 810 turbo. All running ok...............ish
Kooter Brown framed 750 turbo. Getting started soon. Just need to get paid first
1999 ZX7R. Now keeping as a winter hack as its totally reliable unlike the others

i did buy a pc3 usb for a H*nda cbr 600f 01-06.

and i have now 14 wires , i know where 10 wires will go.

i have one black/white wire is that injector ground and do it need to pass the pc3?

1 grey, i think its the signal(map/tpc)?

do you put yours pc3 + no power when the start key is off?

i have 500rpm steps on my pc3 usb, and i think i can change the fuel 100%. if i put 100 it stays.
if i put 101 it says wrong number.

The black/white is a sensor earth so just run that to ground. The grey is TPS/Boost as per the diagram. Yes you should power it via a switched and fused live so that it's only on when the ignition is on. You won't be able to use a 100% increase as the injectors will run out of duty cycle, and 100% decrease would be no fuel at all, so you might want to start with the maps I posted then head for the dyno.
