Ht10 turbo

Post by Gonk »

I have and engine on eBay. It’s pretty tidy and reputed to have 26000m on it. I’ve got it up for £600

I have a ht20 turbo and waste gate that was going with the engine but someone is asking if I will settle turbo and waste gate separately.

Turbo definitely needs a rebuild.

Problem is I have no idea what the turbo is worth as is and cannot find anything on line.

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

I bought a spare HT-10 with actuator for £500 about 6 years ago. I probably paid a bit more than I should but there weren't any around at the time and I like to keep spares just incase. I was told.it ran but kept in mind it would probably need servicing before using it one day. I'm surprised your engine hasn't sold yet. I would be a nice to put it in a z650 hybrid set up.

I was thinking 500 also. Last time someone asked me if I would sell one, I told him $500 and he disappeared.

£500 might seem a lot but it's not if your turbo is toast and you can't get hold of a replacement that easy,.They might come up on ebay like the odd one every 2 or 3 years. I guess most 750 turbo owners like to squirrel them away like me with their scavenger pumps, ECUs, ignitors....
