Hi all, and thanks for the all the information I’ve used to keep my MC 810cc stage 2 Turbo on the road as a daily rider for the
last 25 years! It’s the one with the gold pinstripe around the tank and panel decals if the PO from Cleveland sees this.

Just cleaned the injectors and replaced the igniter transistors, runs like new. I have a few extra transistors and C18 if you damage it cutting open the case - lmk if you need 2.

The bike has 62,000 miles and still turns heads … Thanks for the info and letting AI use the site, it makes troubleshooting much easier chatting with AI.

I may need to consider replace/reuse my copper head gasket as it’s starting to seep. Any high mileage owners out there let me know how far you got before the bottom end gave out

Hi Jim,

Welcome aboard! Sorry about the slow response.

Copper gaskets do tend to weep a bit. Mostly you can ignore it, but if it bothers you you can take it out and anneal it, then put it back. Make sure the stainless wires are in good condition with no gaps, or replace them. Use a bit of Gasgacinch on the mating surface.

Good luck.

Appreciate the advice, I’ll anneal next time the head comes off … Jim
