Still not running right ..
Re: Still not running right ..
Parts are arriving now. Will re-assemble and have another go at it on Sunday
Re: Still not running right ..
Quick question - Anyone know what torque setting is recommended for the 6mm allen bolts that hold the inlet rubbers to the cylinder head? I have the Clymer manual and also the Kawasaki 750turbo supplement bit I can't find this info.
Cheers, Matt

.
There are some torque setting listed in the supplement, pages 1-14 to 1-17.
. .
All others will be in the base manual.

Thanks Jez - ideal
Where did you get the table with the part numbers from? Looks different to p 1-14 in my manual .. I'm assuming its referring to the 'Throttle valve holder bolts' - see pic.. Cheers, Matt

I have the old bike shop microfiche and the table is an excel spreadsheet made up from that and the manual. It is just the nuts, bolts, washers and not all the bike parts.
. . .
As can be seen, the bolts are on B-3 sheet of the fiche.

Nice one - thanks Jez
Re: Still not running right ..
Update - ok so now we're getting somewhere
Put it all back together with new genuine inlet rubbers, done up to the correct torque this time, new BR9ES plugs and NGK non-resistor caps. Fuel pressure re-set again and a decent TPS fitted and adjusted - thanks Peter!
A bit of fiddling and now its firing straight up on the button and ticking over quite nicely.. Test ride next weekend - weather permitting. If it's all good I'm at a decent start point to wire in my variable resistor and activate race mode ... to be continued.
Thanks for all the advice so far - I wouldn't have got it to this stage without the help of forum members .. Cheers, Matt
