I was wondering if anyone can tell me where the oil sending unit may be located on my 1984 Turbo 750? I've changed the oil and filter but the oil warning light keeps flashing.
Thanks!
Oil pressure/ sending unit
Re: Oil pressure/ sending unit
It's under the ignition cover. Remove it, the timing rotor & pick up plate to get at it

Thanks a lot!!!!

It's common for the wires to get caught under the cover and severed by the ham fisted....

Re: Oil pressure/ sending unit
I just replaced mine a month or so ago. Thanks to help from forum members I didn't screw it up. DO NOT attempt to remove the rotor plate by just turning the large or small bolt alone. You must hold the inner larger one and loosen the smaller one. If not and they both turn together you will sheer the locating pin right off.
Re: Oil pressure/ sending unit
Or you'll shear the pin and rotate the timing disc and not notice. Then the igntion timing will be miles out and it will take you forever to find out why your bike runs like crap...

Help
Hi guys
I know this is an old post but I am about to change my oil sensor as its leaking ..
Would you know which direction it is to undo the 2 bolts that hold the rotor/timing plate on ?
Cheers
