new member 1985 Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo

Hi all,

I recently purchased a fully restored 1985 Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo at mecum auction in Vegas. Always wanted one! I’m a collector of all types of motorcycles American, Japanese, Spanish etc. My daily rider is a BMW GS. Haven’t had a chance to go through it, previous owner told me if I’m gonna ride it - should put on new tires. Any recommendations? Also is the motobatt mbtx14au battery considered the best option for this bike? Looking forward to hearing from you and riding my Turbo! Funny how history repeats itself with the tariffs!

Welcome aboard Mike! LOL at the tariffs - yes, older members (that's almost all of us) will remember those and the resulting factory in Nebraska. I wouldn't know about the battery but hopefully some of the long term members will chime in.
