Hi, introducing me again...

Post by Valerio »

Hi,
I'm a 64 italian former motorcycle mechanic, tuner & restorer (now retired, as as racer, too)

I worked some years in a Kawasaki local off road branch R&D (involved with ATVs and motocross, enduro and supermotard models developing ) then later I runned my own activity for a dozen years but my main passion was roadtracks or road hillclimbing races (mostly did on classic motorcycles)

About 15 years ago I've visited this nice forrum while searching infos on my customer's GPZ Turbo upgrades and like a lot the suggests supplied byt Chris and other members we used successfully (Thank you again!)

After closing my workshop, I moved to the countryside and two years ago I started again to write articles for motorcycle magazines (firstly as hobby but now as a part time job...retired money for a former handcrafter here isn't enough to survive...)

I am going to write an article about the GPZ Turbo I really loved to work on and drive (including a review on the famous "upgrade" just for hitory passionates

(I made lot of kilomters on it ... also after that bike was running fine ad when I have made only a little mainteinance, too ! :D )

So I came back looking at this forum and are happy to find this petrolheads group still alive.

Greeting from Italy

Valerio

Ciao Valerio. :thumbup

Welcome to the gang. Great to read you will be doing an article on these bikes. There will be a load of information that you will need right here. Just need to do lots of searches and ask loads of questions. I am sure most, if not all of us, will do a bit to help. :popcorn
