Q. The stock mirrors are hopeless, I've seen alternatives used in the Gallery, what bike are they from?
A. Kawasaki ZR7S or ZZR1200.

So my left original mirror is cracking where the mirror housing meets the stem. I ordered a L and a R because it would just look stupid with 2 different mirrors. Of course they sent the right and back ordered the left so I fitted the right and the metal base is a little bigger than the spot where the original was. Do you grind down the base? It looks pretty good as is but I don't want the pressure to crack the fairing over time.

I don't remember grinding mine down but they weren't on for long.
