Robert bite marks to the arm compare with Tom's bite behind the ear last year. Hopefully this will not be ongoing trend every year. If so maybe we should have a bite / sting trophy. Lol
This is were my bike broke down last. Electrical issue like turning the key off. Didn't want to get stuck on the next two bridges with no emergency lane. At least I have the wife's company while waiting. Not to far from here is when our wrecker guy said here comes a gang of bikes. Turned out to be a Roger, Scott, Robert, and Brett. They were pointing, we were waving. Then poof they dissappear out of site.
Sweet.....Nice pics Rob!!!..I will see if I can remember how to upload pics tonight and get a few more up.....I did a pic dump from my phone last evening. Now to get them on here...
I will be cleaning mine till next years rally.....
......Y'all can have all that you want. I will NEVER do what I did at the rally ever again. This shit is everywhere!!!
I will just hang in my hood with my knee pucks....The TN, NC mountains.....No issues there except which road to ride.... Last time I was there (WV) it was coal dusty.....Add water and you are correct...gravy!!!
Looks like you all had fun, and everyone made it home safe. I have been holding off on the muck thing, but what the f@(? you guys go off roading in the hills or something
Well I didn't mine it so much, ( mine was not nearly as clean as the rest of the gangs, even before the gravy) kinda hid some of the chips and bare spots on the frame. Was some great riding roads in WV. I can only image what it would be like as the leaves start changing. Hopefully we can get some more pictures up. I still need to dump pics Sandy took.
I know I have a year to get mine running the way I want it to. I will post what I find in my project page for the electrical gremlins.
Notice the adventure touring bikes the rest are on in the wet .......Should have taken notice. At least we were real and rode turbo's at the turbo rally .......Year long clean up has started.
LFD....The western part of WV has lots of mining operations and there is coal dust all over the roads. no big deal until it gets wet.....Then it gets bad......Worse then I ever imagined. It is even all over the coils and bottom of tank...... Cleaning these after riding in the rain is hard enough....A cake walk compared to this gravy.....
Thanks for the photos everyone, glad you guys managed to put something together in the circumstances. Looks like it's gonna take Brett til the next rally to get his bike clean
First to 200mph (2006) and still the fastest (211mph)
Quickest turbo-only 8.69 @ 162mph
