Ok guys its rally time , some of you are already riding or will be , and others on their way . Im super jealous as most of you remember from last year , i knew i couldn't make it this year . Due to a limited budget . I will certainly be involved next year unless its too far .

Anyway back to business, Charlie regrets to inform you all that due to the hurricane he just wont be able to attend the rally . When he is able , im sure he will log in and fill you all in on the details of what they're having to endure down in Florida or other southern states for that matter .

He would like all of you that planned on attending the rally to pm him with your mailing addresses so that he can mail out the T-shirts he had made and other swag ( pens , keychains etc ) that he intended to give out this weekend.

Thanks guys :beer

Have a great time this year and hopefully everyone's machine runs flawlessly

George thanks so much for posting for me! Finally we have internet and phone services back in order!

Have much to do yet for a day then should be ready to be back to work and home in order. Unfortunately as George mentioned I won't be able to get to Scott's in WV. If I did I would be there for Saturday only and its a 12 hr drive each way to boot.

For those of you attending I did not realize Scott's Cell was not available. It is 304 989 6527. Contact him when you arrive in Hurricane.

Hope everyone attending has a great time with the planned rides and good food Scott is bringing in for the BBQ at his home.

Everyone please PM me your addresses to ship your shirts and swag for the Rally.

Most of all be safe! Have fun!!

Charlie

Waiting for some posts myself. Talked to Roger last night and said they had a good time. One day was wet and they got a bit muddy. The other days sounded good with some good riding. Rob had a issue with his PC acting up & Scott lost a battery that was 10 years old (ballistic) they replaced on the road but other than that I don't think any other issues and everyone is safe most importantly. Hopefully Rob and Brett chime in today. Smaller turnout as few of us couldn't make it due to Hurricane Irma :(

Yep all is good here made it home safe had a great time. Brett blew by us going up one of the hills on 64 yesterday. Lol I was like hey that's a turbo. Then hey that's Brett lol. I need to work on my 20 year old truck map sensor needs cleaning. Truck was running crapy on the way home threw map code. I will post some pics up later this week.
Only real issue we had was the coal truck that tried to take me and Sandy out twice. Went to pass he wiped in front of us. Had to lock down the brakes, do a little drifting to keep from eating the tailgate. At 1st we thought he was saving us from a head on with traffic. So we had a stretch of clear road and tried again. When we got even with the back of the cab he wips over again. Luckily we were still building boost and shot around him. We pulled over at a monument were the rest of the crew was. Then here comes this jackleg pulls over into the other lane to give us a drive by. Might have to start carrying for those issues. Otherwise great time thanks to Charlie for getting it set up and to Scott and his family for great hospitality. Already looking forward to next year. More to come later.

Rob forgot to mention the situation...LOL

He and Sandy were in the cab of the wrecker that picked them up in Charleston after his machine quit...This after we sat at Hawks nest waiting for a battery for Scotts bike that died earlier..We were 4 hours later then planned...Us 4 blew by trying to get home as we all looked and thought..."hey, there is a turbo. Wonder if they are on the way here? .....Then we were all like HEY...Thats Rob and Sandy..  ...LOL...Man were we hauling ass...facepalm

Gald I made it just regretting riding Friday from the coal residue :mad ....I will have a write up along with pics soon. Thanks to Scott for the hospitality and the awesome food!!! :victory

Thanks for adding that. The wrecker guy told me looks like a group of bikes coming up. Turns out it was the turbo gang doing a fly by. Lol I will post wrecker company info also. He did a great job very professional and a biker to.

So I get home from work today and look at my grass. It's pretty tall so time to cut. So I walk by my bike thought sense the key was in it... turned the key hit the button...and yep you guessed it started right the :mad up! :catfight I shook my head and walked out. You could just hear it laughing as I shut the door. it won't be laughing this weekend when I rip all the wiring out of it. :thumbup

Nice little spot we stopped at giving the fallen coal miners a little monument. Also the same road were a coal tractor trailer tried to off me and the wife, twice when trying to pass. Then made a pass on the wrong side of the road to drive home his anger. If I didn't pay 5 bills for my helmet I would have lunched in through the windshield. Just have to laugh about it and move on, not letting that ruin at great time with good friends. ImageImageImage
