It keeps moving west, which is good for most of us Florida guys. Still expecting 8-10 inches of rain but hey, the pool is a little low. I don't mind the rally being this time of year because it got awfully hot in NC/TN last year in June.

Thanks Eckhard :)

Managed to get on no problem. Looks like were suppose to have 75 to 95 mph winds with gusts of 100 plus if Irma holds her track. Hopefully she will lose some power as predicted but is very close to Marion County. Hope to keep you posted. Thankful the east coast is not gonna get hit so hard after last year there still rebuilding..but its still gonna hit the east coast pretty hard being so strong & big as Irma is. Having coffee on the deck since house is boarded up solid. Can't see out and its like being in dungeon !

Hope you don't get hit too hard Charlie. Presumably you've experienced hurricanes before?

I saw some idiot on Twitter posted that the sea level in Florida is rising more than anywhere else. Yeah, you have uphill sea there...
First to 200mph (2006) and still the fastest (211mph)

Ok guys , ive been asked to touch base with you guys that are still planning on going to this years rally . Charlie is ok but his plans for attending this year have been compromised once again . Thankfully its not a health issue this time .He is still holding out hope to make it to scotts for Friday, but that is not a definite . He could be without power for a good part of the week . In addition to that , he has some tree damage and flooding in and around his property and the subdivision he's located in .

At this point in time , Scott would like a count on people coming and their intended arrival. So far Roger , Robert , and Brett will be arriving at scotts on Thursday . If you could please post here and text Charlie your intentions or plans , Charlie and Scott would much appreciate it .

Charlie is going to be turning his phone on and off to conserve battery power for obvious reasons . If you would feel more comfortable texting me , i will make sure this info gets to correct people .

Charlie also mentioned he will do his very best to get the T-shirts mailed out to Scotts tomorrow if at all possible .

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately I will have to miss this year's as well. I am about 60 miles east of Charlie and while we did not take a direct hit there is still a lot of clean up to do as well as job stuff that needs to be caught up on. Looking forward to next year, someone scrape a footpeg for me.

Hello my brother riders. Hope all are well. I am pretty sure most on here already knew I was not attending the rally. Been having some internet issue of course. Glad to hear everyone came through the cane alright, I have spoken to Charlie. We are all good except i lost a lot of roof shingles and it is going to have to be repaired. Everyone please be safe on the rally. I am going to throw this out there now. I think we should have another rally after the first of the year, in the spring time? Thoughts.

Im all for a discussion about the rally for 2018 but think a new thread for such a purpose be started . To keep this one relevant to this year .

Charlie and Scott are still trying to work on the 2017 one thats supposed to be starting tomorrow.
