2017 750turbo.com Rally

Post by Charlie @ Evergreen »

ok guys have this set and now time to make your plans if you can attend the 2017 750turbo.com Rally.

The 2nd Annual 750turbo.com Rally will be held this year in Hurricane WV. Very scenic and beautiful area in the mountains to ride and will have a lot planned. Scott & I got a lot of details worked out the past few days spending time here in Ocala. Spent the day in Daytona Friday for some fun. On a side note it was really good to see Scott as I was staying with him last year when I had my accident in WV. Haven't seen him since then...tho we talk regularly.

So the plans are as follows.

Dates for the Rally September 13th thru the 17th ( Wednesday thru Sunday )

Scott's address for reference to hotels is
20 Lower Coach Road
Hurricane WV

He also says the Holiday Inn Express I posted earlier is a real nice place to put up. :beer

Links for Hurricane Hotels with good ratings
Hampton Inn 4.5 out of 5 Rating $119 nicely Hurricane
https://hotels.yellowpages.com/hotel/de ... SX=0&SYE=3

Holiday Inn Express 4.5 out of 5 Rating $122.00 Hurricane
https://hotels.yellowpages.com/hotel/de ... SX=0&SYE=3

Red Roof 4.1 out of 5 Rating $75.00
https://hotels.yellowpages.com/hotel/de ... SX=0&SYE=3

Scott will provide shelter in his massive garage to store the bikes so no one will have to leave them at the hotel or re trailer them at night. He has a very nice place to provide safe shelter for our 750s.

I will provide a agenda of what we have planned for rides when I can update and finalize with Scott.

Nite time activities we will be doing a couple nights of BBQ and drinks at Scott's home. We will also go out for a Rally Dinner a couple of nights.

Plans are mostly to have a lot of fun riding as much as we can...then enjoy our nights together.

There will be swag again this year with Shirts, glasses, pens etc...some fun small things for the Rally.

There will also be a Billet Turbo raffle so somebody will get a nice upgrade to there 750 turbo.

There will also be a Pot Luck Raffle with the proceeds from the Billet Turbo Raffle.

Also planned that didn't happen last year as I wasn't able to attend is some class Trophy's to be determined and voted by all the Rally attendee's. Sorry I can make the trophy's happen this year. My apologies :(

So time to plan on a fun 5 days for the 2017 750turbo.com Rally

Any questions let me know.... email me at evergreenturbo@aol.com

Happy Boosting!!

Charlie,I know you have a lot going on and have been slammed just trying to keep up and move and work on yourself as well. Thank you for taking the time to put this together :thumbup Next time you talk to Scott please tell him I said thank you for extending the use of his home for us hooligans to invade

I am going to try and do something again this year, not sure what. My nephew is working out of Miami right now and is getting married in July, so he has very little time. (He made the braided key chains last year)

John is slammed most of the time, so I don't think I can get any machinist help. :cry I will figure out something.

Thanks again! :victory

Time is flying by this year and the 2017 Rally is only months away.

Hope many of you can make the Rally this year in WV. Below is some previously posted information for the Rally.

If you can let us know if your making the Rally I will keep a running list of attendee's for 2017.

The 2nd Annual 750turbo.com Rally will be held this year in Hurricane WV. Very scenic and beautiful area in the mountains to ride and will have a lot planned. Scott will be providing his oversized garage to park all the 750's so they won't have to be trailered each night for security. All we have to do is show up and start riding & have a good time.

Dates for the Rally September 13th thru the 17th ( Wednesday thru Sunday )

Hotels for the trip are in Hurricane and many to choose from. I am sure many of you have other ways of getting good rates but here are the hotels that are available in Hurricane. Here is the link.

Hey Charlie

Do you think it would be possible to get a closer address (Maybe PM it) to where exactly Scott lives? Like closer to Milton, Culloden or is he smack dab in the middle of downtown Hurricane? Some of the mid range rate hotels in Hurricane aren't so hot looking. But there are others listed that may be better around like Cross Lanes, Dunbar, and Barboursville. Either way it would be nice to know how far I will be commuting each morning and night.

Thanks Bro

I'll get with Scott before I post his address. Sure its ok but prefer to ask first. He is outside the city limit area a short distance. I would think all the hotels are within 15 minutes of his home. He is pretty close to the interstate in Hurricane. :thumbup

I was checking them out too .Some of them look pretty rough .Then when you said leave the bikes at scotts for security . Dont really need his address but a little more info would help. kind of wondering the same thing as to which side of town would be closer or better . Still not sure if I can make it or not as I have bike week in NH in june and a room reserved for daytona in the spring .But still hoping I can pull it off as I didnt make the last one .
