PC software problem

Post by Art »

I'm sure that someone must have had this problem, so I'd greatly appreciate any advise you could share. And I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed - just point me to the prior solution.

I'm using a PC-V (for 2006-7 Suzuki GSXR750), USB interface to notebook running Power Commander Software Version 1.0.6.4. Resistor pack w/2.4 ohm injectors. Stock ignition except for Bosch Mag suppression wires. Injectors fire. Throttle input voltage correctly read.

But when running at speeds below about 2500 RPM, the software RPM display either blanks out or becomes intermittent, and the other displayed data jumps around also. The PCV itself seems to work fine even when this happens - the problem appears with the PC program on the notebook. No problem at higher engine speeds and at zero RPM when the ignition is on but engine is not running. Logically one might expect this to be related to ignition noise, but moving the notebook further away doesn't seem to effect it, and I can't think of any way to improve the EM noise immunity.

Thanks much.
