Rice O Rama 2015

Post by georgew4714 »

So i figured I'll post this up for all the northeast USA guys or anyone else that can make the trip to possibly drum up some interest and hopefully organize another get together and log on a few miles . Its happening on September 13th 10am -5pm rain or shine . I wanted to make an appearance last year but the bike wasn't in the greatest condition however I'm ready this year .

That's awesome !!! I look forward to meeting up with you . So far thats 5 of us including mac750 who also said he was in .

How many miles would it be for you ? I know those long rides are a tad tough on these bikes , i just met up with riturbo and tom66h over the weekend . 125 miles and 2 hours one way and the tailbone was a bit sore by the end of the day but the smile factor makes it worthwhile .

Yeah i guess its a bit tough to show off a bike with no engine :humour

Well keep it in mind , if all that are expected show up , it could be a pretty good turnout . On the plus side , every member I've been lucky enough to meet have all been great . So you'll be with good company . :beer

Good luck with the engine build its looking great

What we need ...more group turnouts like this with the 750s...the old days Roger tells me about with TIMOCA has us talking about trying to revive some reunions each year. Maybe Steve K (want to meet) would come back. either way what you have started..maybe its the start of something every summer for bigger times :thumbup I think done half those turbo's you all are getting together with! Be a lot of fun to meet everyone :thumbup

Ok so the bike show is 9 days away , i checked the weather for Sunday in Spencer and its showing 75° , partly cloudy and a 20% chance of rain . This is New England and weathermen don't have the best track record but at this point :thumbup . I'm a lock and pretty sure Riturbo is also .

If anybody north of me or north of Spencer Massachusetts for that matter want to meet , have breakfast or ride together . I'm game . Anybody coming from south and planning on going by way of I495 , we could pick a meeting place somewhere around Worcester and I'll be down for that also . Anybody is welcome to pm me , for any reason .

Charlie , I know your bike is up and running now , congratulations , and i know you need to put some cruisin miles on before you open her up ?!?!?!...... you takin the bait ??? :humour

Anyway Hope to hear from some of you soon or Hope to see a few of you guys there ! :beer :popcorn
