Nothing wrong with RCs and we know they physically fit ok. Just make sure you get the high impedance type.

Really tho...I appreciate you and everyone with all the knowledge and advice thru the last year getting the 750 into shape...would have been much more difficult without all your help. :D

Yep, as long as they are high impedance (12-16ohms). You just need to machine/push off the plastic o-ring top mount and barb what's left for a bit of fuel hose.

I'm not, there any many people on here with far more knowledge than me in some areas, especially restoration and maintenance of the standard bike. I can't paint, machine, weld or do electrickery, but I can read books and I'm not afraid to try stuff out when I can afford it. I've been down the road of stock injectors, various tuning gizmos, adjustable and rising rate fuel pressure regulators, 310cc, 370cc, 580cc on alcohol, 4, 8, even 12 injectors, aftermarket ECUs and the PC of course. Trying shit and throwing half of it away and talking to, no, listening to people far more cleverer than me.

Or

Make a fuel rail to fit the STD O-Ring set up...

With the STD retaining clip.

Lorcans correct on the 440cc units I ran. Even using it on the road it did not need anything other than mapping correctly on STD fuel pressure.

Gmorning.....

lol..Lorcan your very humble and very knowledgeable. I doubt anyone would question that thought....I did give credit to everyone as everyone has been so good with knowledge and experience here on the 750's... Been on many a project and found most forums not very user friendly...to many that give you advice and didn't even own a turbo was found out. The 750 Forum is both friendly and user friendly with knowledge, hand on experience and lots of kidding about with each other. Of course making friends was unexpected but find I enjoy the new friendships.

Hey Tack....I can usually think outside the box a lil more but shit I didn't even think of changing the fuel rail..I even have several here that may work with the correct tops for the injectors...I will look into those ..and if non works..may just make that fuel rail you posted up..be pretty trick... :)

oh ya..bought those injectors...sweet deal....thanks!!

Tack are you still running your blueprinted 738 with a PC3 and the turbo similar to what I got?? Wondered if you had a map I could use to start with and go get it tuned???

When a fuel rail is used with o-ring injectors I do like to see the rail bolted in position so it can't move sideways. This happened on Storm once and it shot a 20' plume of methanol out of the side of the bike. Luckily no-one was smoking nearby...

I have a reason for interest in this.
I would imagine that most cars have fuel injectors these days. Is there not a list somewhere of all the injectors that will flow the appropriate amount?
I may know absolutely nothing about this but $85 per injector seems a lot of money for what they are!
1984 ZX750E1 (needs a few little bits), 1984 ZX750E1 being built (810 motor on the floor), 1986 GPz810 (Debben head, turbo chassis, longer, lower, dirty and black), 1995 ZZR1100 D3, 1987 GPz750 in black, red and silver.

The 738 was on the STD ECU with higher fuel pressure and the brown wire cut with a variable resister.
I only used the PC when I went 810 with the big turbo, so sorry can't help ya on that one. However read on...

If your engine is STD and the injectors are the same size as STD then most of the columns on the PC will be Zeros as the Big K map is good to start with.
If you fit 30% bigger injectors then the columns would all be -30% (note the minus symbol)to start with.
If you are running more boost than STD the lower boost range would still be -30% off boost as most of our engine off boost produce the same power unless you are boring out.
However when she hits the boost range adjust the numbers in the columns quite quickly on the map to compensate for the extra power because of the extra boost.
But again if you have the brown wire cut the Big K map will kick in and adjust the fuelling to suit the higher boost up to 26 PSI. I clipped mine at this to stop the ECU shutting down but ran at 32 PSI.

It's important to note that BIG K's map is good for 26 PSI of boost with the engine and ancillaries in STD trim.
Once you bore out, gas flow and generally fiddle with the engine/exhaust then you will need to start using the PC.
AS most people fit the PC with a lot of mods to the engine the PC is always used.
I've never heard of someone fitting a PC to a STD engine albeit with the STD size high impedance injectors.
If they did then the PC map would be almost all zero's as I have said before the Big K map it good. (at least to start with)

Do you concur Lorcan?

I hope your still awake as it does get tricky/boring real quick.

I'll draw up a couple of maps to illustrate what I mean better and post some data logged from some runs to show you what I mean. It's tricky just to explain without pictures.
