Re: Anti dive units

I think the units are not 100% identical.

Take a look at german "Memo.pdf"

http://www.750turbo.info/index.php?view=cms_176

Page 6 Anti Dive: Das System ist dahingehend geändert, dass nunmehr die Stufe I der Stufe III der ZX 1100 entspricht. Which means: The system is changed that way, that now ...

Re: Blowoff Recirculation

I'm all for people trying out different stuff but don't expect too much from the recirc.

It does not make any sense to recirculate the air to the intake of the turbo. If you try something like that, recirculate it into the exaust, before the exaust gas go into the turbo. Audi did this in the 1987 ...

Re: Cylinder Head

In the cleaned and marked areas the NA combustion chamber is wider than the turbo chamber:

If you use an NA Head with turbo pistons you have no squish. I think this is not good.

Re: Live near Oxford

Thank you Mick (and thank you Lorc). It was a nice time in Oxford. Until last week I thought Düsseldorf is the best place to live (in Europe). Since the days in Oxford I do not know, if I am right. The day my daughter had the interviews I went to the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham. I am ...

Live near Oxford

Does anyone live near Oxford and has a place for sleep for me between 7 Dec 2013 and 11 Dec 2013? I am with my daughter at the university - she wants to study there.
If there is someone, or someone knew a cheap hotel there, please write me an E Mail to Dams at mann-schroeder.de (have no own I net ...

Re: broken shifter shaft housing?

Anybody else ran into this issue before?
A friend here had the same problem - Heinz- the first one that had the prblems with the PU- clutch dampers. As the engine was apart, it was welded and now it works without problems.

Re: Hitachi compressor wheel alternative

Would this one fit?
Jim says it does not fit. The diameters are not correct and the bore diameter too is not correct. Must be 6.33 mm.

But he thinks, that the company that produce this wheels, must be able to mill HT 10B wheels.

Re: Back in the land of the living.

The sun is the same
In a relative way
But you're older
Shorter of breath
And one day closer to death
As I was young I do not realise the meaning of the song.

Now I am living 16 years with some spare parts in my mitral cardiac valve. Works really good.

Get well soon.
