AD PLATES

Post by youngblood »

Stripped down one of my bikes today front fork seals leaking one side, I did laugh when I took off the block off plates I fitted 2009 I believe, I have attached photos from my first to the present, another question all the seals still available for the forks. Kawasaki seals, if I remember its a dust seal, main seal and a copper washer? It has progressive springs and 15wt weight oil need to find the details. And I just sold my last set of AD plates a few day ago so these are secondhand ones I have kicking around. I'm putting the AD back on as well as the plates.

Take a look at this old post. It should help with identifying parts. :thumbup

I ordered my parts from Fowlers of Bristol Kawasaki dealers and found out the main seal and dust cover part numbers have changed I have a list below,

92049-1372 to 92049-1435 main seal

92093-1314 to 92093-1382 dust cover

Copper washer is the same part number, Fowlers did not list the model and will add it to there drop down menu at some point. Still have to wait 7-10 days for the dust covers to arrive. The other parts where next day standard post.

New design in 10mm with O-rings, and the standard type with a slot have gone to 6mm just need de-burr and a clean up then Ill test the new 10mm on my bike that I have just overhauled the front suspension. Just waiting for the grub screws then I can drill a hole between the two bores on the 10mm. These are the new three AD plates I have tried 6mm and 10mm

New type of AD 6mm with an O-Ring will fit them on one of my bikes and test. I may paint them black.
