Re: 3D Printed Replica Items
Hi, Yes the surge tank covers are on the menu when I get time as its a complicated profile to do on solidworks. I also have the toolbox but having trouble printing this, not sure if the model needs adjusting or there's an error in the print software.Greyv wrote:ever thought of producing 3D printing air box covers?

Re: 3D Printed Replica Items
Got another one for you Adrian. Just under the battery cover are 2 rubber dampers, 92075-078. Can you print those?

Re: 3D Printed Replica Items
These 2 dampers are fitted to the tank support bracket & locate on the 2 bosses on top of the battery cover, yes I can print these but I need some dimensions to work from as I don't have an OEM to copy from.145turbo wrote:Got another one for you Adrian. Just done an initial drawing for those dampers BUT I need the distance between the bottom of the tank bracket & the battery your using +1mm for clamping (YB14-LA2 ?) then all I have to do is adjust the thickness then I'm ready to print the prototype version.
Adrian
Thanks for the info guys, I can now go ahead & setup a printer profile for this product!

Re: 3D Printed Replica Items
I'm learning solidworks with some of these parts & I like helping people with the same interest in keeping these rare beasts alive.VinoBassi wrote:Must say you are a legend Mate..making these absolute parts,cheers.![]()
The surge tank covers will be a test/learning curve as no part of them is a solid straight/flat bit to work from. When I get round to printing these I will leave the finishing up to the buyer as I'm not a bodywork/painter, this will also mean I can do them cheaper.
Thanks
Adrian
