Haven't been around for quite a bit, just looking thru a lot of post's and saw this. Not turbo red, but we can call it Kawasaki green on the toes, hope all goes well.

Thanks!
I went out on the mountain bike today, for a quick 7 mile ride to visit my friend - a 7 mile ride that turned into 32 miles with over 1,100 ft of ascent!
Feeling sore, very sore actually, and very tired, but REALLY happy with myself!!!

Hello Charlie!
I've been left with arthritis in most all of the joints in my foot and ankle now (makes a matching pair with the knee I guess!), so while the fused Subtalar Joint is now pain free, every bloody thing else sucks!!!
Ah well, can't complain - I'm coming back over to the States in 2 years (the 2020 Hindsight Tour!!!) to ride with John Altom again!
How are you doing now???

Steering head is practically done.
Parted off a 0.7mm shim on the lathe. Really pleased, it came out 0.75mm thick. I'm usually really crap at parting off!ImageImageImageImage

Man I love watching your machining work progress! Good to see your working hard at it again :thumbup

2020! I think by then will have to make some time to come visit up in TN when your here. Think thats where you would be with John??
Good to hear your past the surgery and working on rehab. Will that arthritis get better with rehab?? I know I have gained more mobility where it is not as hard or painful so hope you can also. Hey I can get my socks on now!
