Your wife has the best chance of a speedy recovery in this day and age, and is very lucky It did't happen 30 years ago, all the best and try not to worry and try to be her rock mate, I know how hard it is "first hand" but that was 3 years ago and a friend of ours also had a hard time with it but is now loving life again, here's wishing you both all the best. I'm really sorry to hear that, as mentioned earlier, in this day and age she has a great chance of recovery so you have my sincerest hopes that she sees a full restoration of her health.
There's more besides, joyrides and a little house in the countryside.
Get the balance right.

So where's this going to happen then....?

You do realise that I have moved house so I have a garage with heat and power so I can get this bloody turbo back together!!

She'll be right mate, my sister in law, and mother in law both had BC, had ops, and have had 2 and 3 respectively five year in-the-clears since. It's much better fixed nowadays...
All the best dude...

Had the op yesterday, all went ok now just the two week wait for the biopsey results.
Got to say though that when our beloved health service works well its a match for any medical organisation in the world, state or private. I dont think Tracy would have been dealt with any better and with a greater degree of understanding, compassion and with even a bit of humour anywhere.
I might stop moaning about how much tax we pay for a while.

I agree. Although I moan a lot about a variety of things (yeah yeah, grumpy old man :) ) I do say at the same time how fortunate we are and well off we are compared to the majority of other countries in the world.
