Cheers Jez,
Looks like an early start for me or a better option a local premier inn.
I may not need to wear the borrowed leathers as the rules say jacket and jeans is acceptable. So my textile stuff should be ok.

This weekend, being a three dayer will give me a chance to do a couple of things.
Taking the bluesbike to get the boost controller and the Mr Turbo gauge fitted. Not sure if it is a while I wait job or pick up the followong week.

I also have a bit of painting to do.

Do you have the uprated oil pump JB? The GT15 should last forever if properly lubed.
First to 200mph (2006) and still the fastest (211mph)
Quickest turbo-only 8.69 @ 162mph

yeah, textile stuff is okay at the Pod. They don't scrutineer the bikes, but if you are dripping any fluids, you wont get near the track

Hmm, we may need to reschedule it anyway.
There's RWYB on Saturday, but the Sunday is a Classic Ford event so it's not a 2 day so no stopping over.

Yup, as expected there is a bit of a problem here.
Last year we did early May so we have a RWYB/Public Track Day on the Sat and the Sunday. With no option like that at Santa Pod until 8th August we are bit stuffed for a camp over.
I don't mind doing just the one day but having a few beers is nice too.
Alternatively there's 18th/19th of July at Shakespeare County Raceway (was Long Marston, near Stratford).

What do people think??

I can't make any of the other dates due to my shift pattern.
I was also hoping there would be one a little closer to me like at Elvington.

Okay, here's the skinny.

The RWYB is just for the Saturday. The only way to stop over is to get tickets for the Classic ford show on the Sunday with the camping option, which adds up to another £24, and you wont get to run up the track!!

Are we shooting for a new date??
