I installed the RC370s and the pc5 today.
The software wants the tps to be 0v throttle closed and 5v wide open. It turns out ours works the opposite, mine reads 4.96v closed. Bummer.
Tomorrow I'll switch the grey wire to the boost sensor and go from there.
It fits in the tool tray just fine and so will the autotune module.

PP, you know you have to recalibrate the boost sensor,or buy another that is scaled 0-5v (which I ended up doing).
I've tried growing up, it just doesn't work for me, so I'll go on enjoying my childhood.

Hi. yes, thanks.
Or, according to the chart, if I use the stock sensor I will be limited to 20psi, right?

Possibly, I never thought of that, I'm limited to around that anyway, because I haven't capped the voltage to the ECU. I'm thinking over the winter I'll sort out some of the detail, but until then I'll do some riding.Good luck with the mod,and keep us posted.

Not having capped the voltage to the ecu limits you to 26 psi as long as your 2nd map sensor is in place feeding your PC3.

Maybe something you can test regarding the TPS.
If you look at 3-23 of the supplement you'll see that 3 -4 -5 are the terminals in use with 4 being the common. If you swop 3 for 5 then the TPS output should be reversed and the PCV might like that better.
There's more besides, joyrides and a little house in the countryside.
Get the balance right.

Perhaps but the factory ecu probably won't.

You're using the boost sensor, not the TPS, so no need to mess with it.

Now I know what the tool tray is for :D

Its a moot point as Lorcan says but what I meant was that instead of tapping into pin 3 you tap into pin 5 or does the PC require that it goes inline with the wire to the ECU.

Anyway, Moot point.

Hi
The way I read the schematic, pin 5 has constant voltage which never changes which to the PC would look like full throttle all the time.

Hi Piney.
Do you have new info´s about your PCv and Autotune ?

How does it works , okay ??

What do your autotune ? is it really so good and make the autotune really the work for you?

i have a lot of problems with my innovate datarecording (with PC3usb)and i think over to change to PCV and Autotune .
Because if the autotune make my work and i dont must ride no more hundred of testrides.

Please give me informations
Thanks

Hi Horst

The pc-v is working fine. I'm not sure the Autotune responds to the o2 sensor quickly enough to accurately create a map, especially if you're using boost signal as the tps input.
At least, when you have the laptop connected to the bike there is a slight delay (albeit milliseconds) between revving the throttle and seeing the o2 reading change on the screen.
One would need to hold the bike at revs to let the device gather data. On the street this is a bit difficult.

I've adapted a secondary tps just for the power commander but haven't had time to try it.

Obviously the best way to tune the bike is on a dyno. I haven't had time for that either.

Thanks for the reminder...every time I get a free moment to tinker it always seems to be on something else. I will try to get back to this.

I mean TPS.

the gpz TPS is not compatible with the power commander (it reads 5-0 volts instead of 0-5) . I've piggybacked a tps from a newer bike onto the oem tps. I will use this for fueling the way dynojet intended then attach the boost sensor to the pc-5's analog input to tune further.

I've decided to limit myself to 20psi for now to eliminate the need for a 2nd boost sensor. Once I tune it satisfactorily with what I've got then I'll consider going further.

cheers.
