an update of progress so far , last summer after failing to obtain a good running and complete engine it was time to try and get one of my spare engines sorted. this one had a seized big end and had wrecked the crankshaft. so i managed to get a new to me crank with rods and decided to do a complete rebuild on the engine, replacing most of the bearings, all of the seals, new crank and conrod bearings, new chains both cam and primary drive, repaired the crank casing as large piece had been broken off when the previous owner had dropped the bike.

Back on Ted - Good Stuff.

Is it going to be original or have some madness sprinkled on it.

for now its going to be stock engine, different turbo, race mode, bov,kn filter,1100 throttle bodies, one day i might go for big bore. my intension was to get the bike up and running so i could flog it but the amount of time, money and effort im having to put into it i might just keep it.

bottom end is all most complete now just need to put trans cover back on, do the oil pan mod and replace clutch rubbers.
so hoping to get that all done so i can get the engine into the frame by end of april.(this year)

Nice one TT. Glad you are back on the case.
There's more besides, joyrides and a little house in the countryside.
Get the balance right.
