Thanks guys. There was a big turnout (200+) for Barry's send off with many from the drag racing community. Barry was the driving force behind the team. He did most of the work and put in most of the money, but his widow wants us to carry on with the bike so we're going to try our best to make that happen. Mick and Graham are rebuilding the bike and my shoulder will be ok in a couple of months so we're hoping to get to a RWYB in July. In a way I'm dreading it. It will be very strange being at the track without him.

Mick and Barry.

I doubt Barry would have wanted you to stop but i do understand your concerns.

Great news that Storm will be running again though.

Just got my national licence and have entered the Euro Finals in September. Hopefully we'll get to a test day before then. Mick has been great and our friend Dave Woodard has stepped in to help with the repairs. The bike is currently at Horsepower Factory UK, next to Owen's, having the burnt wiring replaced.

We're only going to get a couple of meetings in this year at best so I doubt any records will be forthcoming. And the yanks are now running 6.19 so there is that! Even the streetbikes are now in the 6.4s - quicker than us on a skinny little road tyre! If we get the opportunity to turn the boost up though, we will.

Don't bother reading it, we were embarrassingly shit.

Congratulations Lorcan to you and your team. Having issue at the race track is a give in. I pitted for a couple years for a guy that ran limited late models. I don't ever remember a race where we didn't have something come up.

What you and your family and crew did though is what makes the difference. Your winners even if you only got the one run in. Each time seems to be a learning experience, you will do better next time. :victory
