Another day at the dyno - 200mph but a hollow victory

It's only a 750...how fast can it be?

The Objectives were to convert to race fuel, sort out the imbalance in fueling across the cylinders , get the AFR consistent and test the newly fitted Dynojet quick shifter.

With new 102 ron race fuel wet set the AFR to 10.75

After some messing about we decided on a "dwell time" of 85Ms for the quick shifter

Cylinders 2 and 3 have always run lean. so we richened these up in the in the PCV (what clever kit this is) best check i could do was plug chops and keep checking - quite laborious but fine to do.

So end result

AFR 10.75
BHP 210
Boost 27PSI
Fuel Pressure 39 PSI
Consistently over 200mph on the dyno - I know this means nothing but it makes me smile.

To be continued

Thats great Nice when the plan comes together . :clap

good news ,should be able to get the quick shift down to 60 or maybe even 50 ms though especially if you preload the gearshift before the kill initiates :thumbup

Really making good progress! I bet you did not think it could take so much time and effort as you have put into your project! Good work Mang !! :beer

Back on it again, thought I had given but - oh well. Let’s see where this next round of changes gets us!

My 2c.

102 octane is not race fuel. 102 is just high octane pump piss. Anything above 112 is race fuel. It will need to be leaded or have an alcohol content to get there. I used Sunoco 120+.

Plug chops are unreliable. If you really want to tune cylinders individually you need EGT sensors in each header, an amplifier and some kind of datalogger. We have these in Storm. Getting them within 100F of each other counts as a result!

Crack on!
First to 200mph (2006) and still the fastest (211mph)
Quickest turbo-only 8.69 @ 162mph
