Fairing trim

Postby Chris G » Sun Feb 04, 2018 2:51 pm

Been asked if I had any left, I am down to 1 fairings worth which I would rather keep.

This stuff is spot on quality and grips tight & exact.
I won't be in for another roll personally but there maybe interest in a group buy either in the US or EU.

Does 9 fairings in my estimation

It was. Probably not exactly the same as the link supplied though, but near enough.
There are a few places where it can be bought from. I got some a long time ago where it is sold by the metre.
The end caps may be more difficult to get hold of though.

Got this from amazon
Just had a chance to compare it to original
Minor difference in texture
Size is exact match
I’m going to use it on two of my bikes
Would include pics of actual item but I left it on Derek’s pool table
Cost for 10ft is $11.98

I can’t get a link to post
Should be able to search this on Amazon
It you have problems let me know
I can email a link

Guys, sorry for the late reply. You can buy this edge trim all day long that looks exactly like the stock trim. I can't remember which one exactly which vendor but I think it is McMaster Carr or Granger. It is cheap and it comes with the stainless fingers so they don't rust. You cannot get the end caps from them though. I will research it later if I get time to make sure which company it is for sure.

Agreed, and I'm not even certain my bike had them from new, it certainly didn't have them when I bought it at 1 year old.
