I decided to be a guinea pig. I ordered an A22-000 R25. it physically fits on the TB shaft just fine, the same as the stock TPS. The unit is narrower and so it would need an adapter bracket to be screwed on. Then I checked it with a meter. The stock TPS increases resistance as it rotates but the Subaru one does the opposite and decreases in resistance. And the resistance ranges are also different. My stock goes something like 0.875-1.5 but the Subaru goes 2.1-0.25. The pinout is also different

Great going Chaps..alternative turbo parts especially TPS are really needed as these are are all superseded. We are relying on old parts as these are all increasing in value.Great sharing if it works good on us,Cheers. :thumbup :beer

There is a link to repairing the tps.

The idea makes sense, but it seems like there is a lot that could go wrong or be imprecise about the application :popcorn

A guy I know has fuel injected a GSX1000 Katana, using GPz1100 TBs, and an off the shelf TPS.
Don't know a whole lot about it, but the damn thing runs sweet, and make 135 BHP on the Dyno...ImageImage
