RC Injector Cleaning Charlie @ evergreen

Postby Charlie @ Evergreen » Mon Jun 29, 2015 7:05 pm

Now a RC Engineering Distributor to go along with your Turbo repairs.

Usually the cost of the injectors sent to RC Eng & back is about $100.00 for all 4 with complete Service Rebuild & Flow Chart

Injectors will be flow checked as they come in with a print out showing condition i.e. spray pattern (good bad dripping) with flow cc (most are in the 225cc range). Once there cleaned rebuild will have new genuine Bosche micro screens, caps, seals installed with a new flow chart for comparison. The Green Cap Injectors flow 240cc's as do the Yellow Tops.... Once received I install E85 rated fuel injection hose crimped for todays fuels. This line is $7. per foot for the quality line I like to use. But worth every penny so there are no fuel fires about.

If you prefer to send the complete injectors with the injector bracket and holders I can remove and install them ready to bolt in complete.

Once I receive the set of Yellow Injectors will get them flowed for comparison there has been much debate over. (Flow Rate is the same)

Good man. Shame you're not a dealer for Injector Dynamics, they cost a fucking fortune and we just had to buy 8.

I've had it done before before, but it's the flow matching I'm interested in.

Hey Zippy...I missed this long ago... my bad bro!

Yes the stock injectors..any injectors as I send them from all my turbo customers to get cleaned, flowed with new micro filters, O Rings, Hats etc.

FYI on the stock injectors...somewhere I noticed someone asked about the size of the stock injectors...I couldn't find the info ?? According to RC the Stockers are 240CC injectors?? If it is not please advise :thumbup

Should the plastic injector holders and or the short hose sections be removed before sending them for cleaning and flow testing ?

Hey George..take off your plastic holder and the lock plates. Comes with all new rubbers/seals and injector caps. Once they show back up I install fuel line with crimp locks if you want them done..or you can install your own fuel lines. :thumbup

Think your talking about the plastic holders that 2 screws hold down to your TB's?? Right..twist the plastic holders and pull them off the rubber ring, remove the 1/4 inch rubber ring off the injector..the plate just falls off then. :beer
