$8000 worth of work
Re: $8000 worth of work
The bike looks nice, but I really wonder where he spent $8000? Wheels - no, brakes - no, brake lines - no, exhaust - no, maybe he put an 810 kit with Carrillo rods, Ti valves, $2000 cylinder head, and race cam in, but why didn't he list that? For that kind of money the bike should look 99 1/2% perfect. It might sell for half of that unless he gives an incredible description.
In the garage: H2 Ninja, 8 ZX750E turbos, 1970 CB750 w/turbo, a slew of CX H*nda turbos, VMax, Ducati 749R, 1980 Katana, Bimota KB1, Bimota SB4, and a few more bikes tucked away.

My guess is that the a majority of the $8k is lots of farmed out labor. Wouldnt take too much if he paid someone $100-125/hr to do whatever work was done.

Just my two cents about what has happened with so many area's of the motor world we love. Have you all noticed how any old car or motorcycle is now worth a small fortune? The industry has pushed making older cars so valuable ( what person and why would you pay $30K to $300k) and its hitting motorcycles in many areas where they believe it is worth 4 times what they are or more. Used to by restore cars and motorcycles over the now decades but because of this I have not done one since my last 750 Turbo I bought in 2014 when I got a runner that was original and very nice and a roller partially apart for $4500.
Seems like those days are very thin to find deals on what costs so much to make pristine if you do most of the labor.
