Hi Mark I have two engine cases would be glad to just send for the shipping.

Both have the spot above the electronic right side cover with a small broken piece that can be tight welded to repair like new.

If your interested let me know.

Silencers and not mufflers.

Silencers (stop pi**ing yourselves!)

Look at the pair of NA ones on fleabay.

Internally they are the same. You will just need to sort out replacement end caps. The badge can be removed and the hole welded up. Get them sent for coating to somewhere like Camcoat. :thumbup :popcorn

Thanks for the advice Jez. When you say end cap mod is that to make them a larger inside diameter? As you said internally they are they are the same i have probably got this wrong?

Also are the mounting points the same please?

Cheers!

Hey Charlie!

Thats a super kind offer my friend. I am over the pond in blighty so i guess international shipping would make that way too expensive? I could make some enquiries if you think its feasible?

For a Turbo beginner like myself, can you elaborate on the spot above the right side cover please?

Cheers (!) :beer

Here is a page about modifying the silencers. Getting end caps will be the problem unless you are able to make up something.

Thats very kind of you to offer to help me. However after lots of consideration i have decided to wait and see if i can get a pair of the pattern silencers currently under development.

By the way am assuming NA doesn't mean Not Applicable ?

Regards
Mark

Where the cover mates to the case at the top of radius there is a piece broken off about 1 inch long X .5 deep. Seen them repaired and look like never damaged.
Wish it was close would send them off. I use DHL shipping so it would be over 100USD for sure. Pricy for even free cases !

I’ve got a set of crank cases but it will need a small repair on the gear change lever housing as obviously the bike had been dropped and snapped that part off. ( I still have that part ) I know. Tach1000 has done a repair on one in the past and I think he put photos on the forums.

I also have a set of turbo silencers, there ain’t brilliant but they would look ok with a good coat of paint.

If your interested then let me know I’m in Paignton, south Devon. My son is at uni in Bristol so he could possibly bring the stuff up for you to save on postage.
