How to make your turbo good as new, and keep it that way

Valve spring replacement

I for one struggle to get the keepers back in when putting a head back together. I think at least that part is worth a try.
Heavy springs might be another story without the proper tool. https://youtu.be/xtO8ev0Q9jc

Looked like he knew what he was doing and made it look easy. The issue I have is he needed a light on what he was doing because I can't see shit. And he could have slowed down and shown us what he was using and exactly what he was doing.

No feckin way! That looks too easy! I reckon I would slip while pushing down and slice my knuckles to bits in the sharp edge of the head!
The problem is not the problem, the problem is your attitude towards the problem.

My problem is, lets see the other side. What did he do to stop the valve from slipping out. A block of wood, a clamp?

Seeing how the video was posted in 2016, I guess we'll never find out.

This ones better! https://youtu.be/-Qk81XfZhLk
You'd just need to clamp the head down & maybe a piece of rubber under the valve? Couldn't be arsed watching all of it!
