who might have a spare. We exchanged emails agreed a price , sent him my address and PayPal-ed him.
No seat and won’t answer my mails!
WHAT THE FUCKS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!!!!

Was it a “Hey. My buddy/uncle/dad, etc has one for sale.” message? If so it’s a scam. I get those PM’s all the time on another forum when I place a WTB ad. I even state in my ad that spammers will be reported and still get the BS messages. Normally the member messaging has a single random post in an old thread they dug up.

I've banned "DozerT", email robertarmstrong75@aol.com, but lookout for anyone who recently joined the forum (2 weeks in this case) and made zero posts on here before asking you to send money

I'm happy to ban scammers but they don't walk in announcing the fact and given they were successful on this occasion, they may well be back under a different username/IP/email.

Dude anyone with near zero post & new member. Immediate red flag unless you get the goods before you pay for it. Lots of long standing members on here have sent stuff before they get paid for it (Not saying that's the norm) & sometimes even give stuff away for the price of the postage. Hell Malcolm sent me the repro H pipe before I paid for it! 99.999 Percent of the time you wont have an issue but check their credentials and number of posts at least. Ive only had trouble with 2? people on here over the years (stupid arguments) & no issues selling or buying whatsoever.

Sorry to hear this happened here . Unfortunately this serves as a reminder that we all need to be vigilant against scammers .
