Thanks for bumping this one to the top Uber because ive now noticed the first photo must be an early pre production version as the top fairing seems to be painted red where it should be black and its fixed to the lower fairing with screws instead of tabs and the tail piece seems to have a red stripe on the sides :thumbup Theres a new look for someone looking to be different with their paint scheme :beer :dribble:

Now that mention it R&B, also has much shorter mirror stalks, tapered front indicator body, stacked side-cover moniker
and raw peg-bracket flats as well. Screen looks very tall, though lower one looks too low. Wheels may even be black.

I think one may find that the fairing is 2 tone but the low resolution copy in black & white has created some optical illusions. Look at the top of the tank. It is black but looks a lot lighter than the black on the side cover.

Indicator has shadows and lighting affecting it. I think if you look at the shadows/lighting on the good colour image the similarities can be seen. Rear side tail does indeed look like NA stripe with one colour. Side cover has large "turbo" and some smaller text.

Somebody also appears to have forgotten to put the clocks on prior to taking the photo. :humour

Longer rear section on front mudguard.

Would be good to find a good copy of the old image. :thumbup :popcorn

Your probably right about the colours Jez but each time I look at it I see some thing different, belly pan, longer exhausts, the front discs look smaller as does the rear sprocket, could be the angles I spose, as you say it would be good to see a colour photo :beer

Believe display case unit may be 'Enthusiast-sourced' mock-up under glass. Note: RGL showing on tyres.
Not knockin' ME. Thinking pic could've been 'procured'. Undercarriage strangeness in cornering photo too.

Pre-production mock-up variations in Enthusiast photo:
Front indicator mount had me fooled.
Think the bottom unit sprocket may look larger due to shorter baffles.
Fairing upper is black and upper edge may'ave been rounded for final production mold.
Lower cowling is definitely reworked and has 'turbo' applique RR
~ composite transfer pipe
~ sans helmet and seat locks
~ shorter non-taper bar weights
~ large conduit beneath front fairing
~ correct looking mirror heads (color one 'looks' oddly shaped)
~ side cover moniker is turbo above gold 750 (size/order reversed for production)
~ correct front rotor carrier lightening cut-outs (bottom image shows round lightening holes)
~ exhaust canister emblem in silver with uniform 'K' font (bottom image has large 'K' and may be gold)
