So my next phase, is I am planning to install 17" rims in stock fork-swing arm, along with better brakes. My donor bike was a 1992 or 1993 Suzuki GSXR 600. Here is what I have found.
Rear wheel:
Suzuki (20mm axle )not being used, as Kawasaki Bearings(17mm axle) fit the Suzuki rear wheel.
I have not checked the cush drive bearings yet. I have the dimensions in my notes.
Front wheel:
Suzuki (20mm) axle not being used, but I am using the OEM Suzuki bearings. I have had a sleeve made for this so I can use the OEM Kawasaki front axle. I also had a sleeve pressed into the Suzuki speedometer drive, reducing it to the 15mm Kawasaki axle size. I am fortunate to have a few options to have the sleeves made. I found a old machinist who does everything by hand, no cnc equipment so no setup fees. I got both pieces done for under $50.00

I will have to wait until the weather clears up here, to test fit parts and fab up a front/rear caliper brackets.

So I bought a front and rear from a salvage yard back on December 31st, 1/2 price day so I paid $50 for the used parts.
I have cleaned most of them up and bought some new stuff also. We have a local business that rents sand blasting cabinets by the hour, so I gave the wheels and cush drive a good blast, followed by some polishing
