No more goodies, life has been too busy, havn't even been for a ride for a few months! Wanted to do some more photos, so with better weather now will get out and take some more happy snaps with good scenery.
Still waiting on that intercooler design that might fit........YB,......?

Had a bit of a splurge on some bits. Fitted some bigger injectors, Thanks Charlie for supplying them, feel of the pants is its a bit quicker! It certainly growls a bit more through the pipe.
Also just bolted on the hydraulic Magura clutch from Roger Twito, man, is it light and easy, It took some time to get used to it! Just need to adjust it a bit more to find the best grab position for me.
This coming Saturday I am entered into the "Geelong Revival" https://geelongrevival.com.au/
I will be doing the 1/4 mile run, so should be a lot of fun I hope! The weather is looking good too.
I will post a report on the day next week.

Had the event yesterday, had a ball! Only got four runs in which was a bit disappointing. The track is just the public road/ carpark area at the waterfront in Geelong, so we had a few things to contend with, a long right hand curve, white paint lines, a man hole in the braking zone, about a 400meter braking zone before a tyre wall, cold tyres ( no burn outs allowed) a slight head wind, all this just to make it interesting!
The organisers say "its approximately 400m", so my best time by them is slower than my speed hut GPS timer gave me.
My first two runs I struggled with traction on take off, couple of big power slides off the line, the next two I think I fed the clutch out better and kept grip.
The third run I missed third gear.....fuck it...… but got it back pretty quickly.
My last was the best.
It was my first time doing anything like this so was shitting myself! But there was a whole bunch of us the same which made it heaps of fun!
In my class, road registered bikes, there were 5 bikes, the one who came first was riding a FJR1200 which has had about 6k of work done on the motor. His time was 11.93. The overall fastest for the day was a fkn super stock class CBR1000RR with slicks and all the bells and whistles at 10.33 sec.
The bike shop I was there with, the owner after a 10 year hibernation ,dusted off his Ducati Desmosedici RR. He only managed a time of 11.77, he reckons he was just taking it easy and having fun!

Nice one. :thumbup

Now you have crossed over to the "must do it again" side, with the desire to get a better time and speed. It's the way. :humour
