Installing New Turbocharger Recommendations

Post by Charlie @ Evergreen »

Gonna start sending this out with each order now as sometimes communication about this when doing orders shipped gets forgotten or just not done. Not doing the clean out of and quick oil changes will cause a failure from your dampers and clutch fibers inside cases and oil cooler. Yes adding the oil cooler a requirement for cleaning. Dave's turbo here in Belleview Roger just got this engine running after sitting like 15 years and it runs so smooth and sweet but he had immediate damage after like 30 miles. The cooler was loaded with particulates from dampers/clutch fibers so when we did the turbo also did the check valve line and took 3 oil changes before oil was clean when inspected. 10 minutes. 10 miles and 25 miles on third change did last check then clean.
Yes a pain in ass...but more so if your taking apart and sending it back. I don't like doing them twice especially since I do them free one time if it happens. Thankfully only seen like 6 in last 7 years. All from debris thru them.

Please copy and ready keep for your information on your 750
