Got first shipment of Billet Compressor Wheels machined for the HT10 Turbine Shaft Spec. Garrett GT20 Compressor Wheel that I would machine Super Back down to .10mm and open the bore with a Boring Bar to 6.35mm. Now can just open a box and build the Cartridge and then Profile the Compressor Cover. Part of the choice to use the GT Billet is the narrow hub. This allows for larger blade area in the same profile maximizing size for the small HT10 Compressor Cover. The Shaft Nut is also machined down on O.D. so it does not extend out past the side of the hub. This is why the Billet setup performs so good compared to the heavier T25/T3 cast compressor wheels that have huge hubs and very heavy.
The Billet Compressor on left is new finished Billet Compressor Wheel. Notice the Bore size is larger then the Billet Compressor on right. Very delicate machining that has to be perfect, so happy can save this step in the builds for the 750's.
