Hi All a new owner here in the land of Oz. (Aistralia) and doing a reasonable rebuild.
Not a full nuts and bolts but a good clean up and repaint. 😀
Have some questions that I'll put out for chats.
Appreciate any import that comes. Thanks Paul

Thanks for accepting me in the Group, i now own a 85 turbo and looking forward to enjoying it, learning more about them to keep it on the road

These bikes were so far ahead in 84/85

Thanks

Hi, my name is Joachim, i live in the San Francisco Bay area. 2 years happily retired, and i like restoring old bikes. Recent projects were a 1974 Z1 900 and a 1976 H*nda CB750 Four. Currently finishing up a 1975 Kawasaki H2 :-) I am here because i just acquired a 1985 GPz750 turbo project bike and plan to restore it to its former glory. Missing some parts so i may ask if someone can help but currently perusing ebay to see what's out there. I had a lot of bikes in my time, but my first 'real' motorcycle was a brand new 1984 GPz750 so i am very fond of these. Never had a turbo, but now i do! Current rider is a GPz1100 :-)

Welcome Joachim :beer

Hopefully you can find the missing parts you require for your rebuild. Start a personal bike thread and start asking away!

Good luck and show us some progress with pics.

Hi there,
I think that I used to be a member on here, but either forgot my details or I dreamt it...
Anyway, having always been a massive fan of air-cooled Kawasakis (in particular the Z650) I've have always (like always) wanted a 650 with a 750 turbo powerplant. Finally, after years of just wanting, I'm in the process of achieving that dream, with a bike to be collected next week, and the appropriate powerplant soon after.

Incidentally, I have another Z650 that I bought over 30 years ago, that I wanted to equip with a 750 turbo engine but couldn't get one at the time. So I fitted a GPz1100 lump instead. That has since been fitted with a draw-through turbo, but I still lust after the original dream...
